Blue fluff monster vs Flea!

Uhoh....there's going to be a huge fight here, and nothing's going to stand in their way!!....Or...maybe they are meeting for a chat?
Have been trying out environments; this is a slight rework of an image I did aaaages ago, but now that I'm concentrating on environments, could make it much better :)
Last post for awhile, am going on holiday soon back to 'sunny' England, yay! :D

Creepy creepy

Time for an update :) Just a lil pic I did in my spare time, of a creepy lady with even creepier hair and 3 weird horns. I used to love designing head dresses like this in university...*nostalgic sigh*

Monster Hill

Time for another update! This is the latest monster for the competition over at CGHub - the idea behind this one is a monster that's masquerading as a hill, digging into the ground and then anxiously waiting...It lures unsuspecting creatures/humans by the bright flowers that sit on it's face. Closer they get..closer...then SNAP! I hear you ask 'if it's so big, why doesn't it just walk around and grab and eat what it wants? Why the pretense?'...because it's much more fun ;D

Character stuff!

Orriiiiite - been inspired to do some character stuff, so I thought I'd do a little series of sci-fi clothing designs. I wanted her to look feminine yet not too skimpy (tho one of them might be ;p) These were very quick to do, just flat colour and tiny bit of shading, if any..Would be nice to maybe do a more rendered version.
Incidentally, my fave is the first one!

Don't be alarmed, it's the Armour Llama!

Armour Llama! Back again, this time with the girl featured in my last animatic/storyboard :) Are they friends? Is it real? Is she real? The Armour Llama comes to those in trouble, though the girl looks pretty calm and pleased now. :)

Attack of the Centaur!

Orriiiiiiiiiiiite.....this is an evil Centaur, attacking a small village - the Guardian has summoned a demon (Flea) who will protect them! This is for a competition over on CGhub to design and electrical centaur thing, and this is my entry. :) Just for fun! I need to practise shading more though....and environments...blah blah blah ;D

Armour Llama!

New post, just of an Armoured Llama! I love llama (and alpacas) they'd make interesting battle rides ;D Anyway, not happy with this picture at all, I started to hate it halfway through colouring...but thought I might as well post it anyway. Might see more on this theme anyway when I put some proper effort in. ;D

Raaawr

Creature! Needed to draw something weird :) This is a ram/goat/lion thing! I like it's spindly little legs, it isn't a creature made for fighting despite trying to look intimidating - maybe it's it's defence mechanism...

Stuff!

Some little bits and pieces - first is a room with lots of pc screens and general mess (perfect!) and the next is a quick sketch of a crack in the ground, yay! Need to do more, moooore

The Forest

I know I said I would do more environments, but here's an animatic and storyboard to pass the time, hehe! No epic story, just a meeting in a forest that leads to violence...

Orriiiite! Gonna start trying out some environment pics, as it's my very very weak point, and I need the practise :) Will try and put up little sketch versions too. So this first one is a little play around with textures and framing. The one after is a sketch of a lab room, with something creepy in a tank in the corner and a nosey cat. :)

Speedy piccy

Here's a lil speed paint, was more about playing around with some nice texture brushes we were given by a co-worker (danke!) No real story to it..some fortress tower thing, holding a glowing light that the guy and his companion on the hill are gazing at...maybe they want it? :O

Weird creature

Weird creature! Did this using a technique Truds showed me; drawing a weird shape in marker pen, then turning the paper over and making a creature out of that shape. Is a nice idea, as it helps you to draw shapes I wouldn't normally. :) So I showed the little sketch it's based off of to. Excuse the neon colours, but I had to ;D

Zbrush fun!

Like meine schwester Truds, I am also trying out a bit of zbrush! Really fun tool to use, and nice to learn too :) So I tried out doing a human head very roughly (yes, he looks like he needs a good meal or 2!) and also the Fluff Monster! Would like to do a 'proper' one at some stage.
There's something about the clay coloured 3d stuff that always looks edible to me...like chocolate. :)

Flea's Trials

Creepy thing!

I decided to draw something a bit creepier this time, as there's been a high percentage of fluffiness! So I thought I'd draw something I wouldn't want to bump into down a dark alley. Not really a chrismassy theme to end with, but Merry Christmas!

Quick half hour speed pic of an alien mech thing ;D A kind of spindly ornate mech, that carries around a big eye in the middle of it (well why not? ;) Want to do more speed pics,....or maybe a nice big finished painting. :)

Orrite! Just a really quick sketch pic update here - was playing around with different brushes and not relying on a texture to do an alien-inspired creature here. I hate the 'background', but I just wanted to stick something in behind.
